Bellboards carry the names of the owners and tenants of a building thus representing the inhabitants’ composition. They are an interface between the outside and the inside. As such, they reveal something about our society. How multicultural we are, how much we care about our interfaces (if at all), how much attention we dedicate to each other. This series reflects a neighbourhood in Vienna’s 10th district, around the so-called „Kreta“, a neighbourhood of immigration mixed with long term inhabitants. A neighbourhood typical for growing cities like Vienna.
